The Imaginarium Network (IN) presents Sovereign Saskatchewan Summit, March 4,5 & 6, 2022
February 11, 2022, MANITOU BEACH, SK — The historic venue of Danceland on the shores of Saskatchewan’s healing lake, Little Manitou, meaning little god spirit, is the location for an event designed to bring the people of Saskatchewan together for a weekend of important conversations, celebration and creative community-based learning for children of all ages.
The event begins on Friday morning, March 4th, with a short field trip to Wellington Park for some time tracking bunnies and deer, hand-feeding chickadees and enjoying the sights and sounds of the creek as it runs and freezes through the snowbanks. Our morning out is followed by a local-artist led afternoon session of illustrating our experiences.
Some of the interesting country and village folk from around these parts will host us over a chili supper before we do some rapid brainstorming together.
We’re aiming for peace, natural health and a fresh economy, turning the constant devolution of health, relationships and governance experienced in recent years and throughout our history into an experience in the rear view mirror that we’ve learned from and changed through.
It’s going to be a great day followed by a great evening. Come with your heart open to receive and your desire for a life of purpose and vitality ready to ignite. Be ready to share your perceptions, ideas, your wisdom and your genius and to experience the same from others.
The learning activities will continue on Saturday as more local talent lead the village classroom with an activity involving words and stories. In the afternoon, those engaged in the learning activities will curate a gallery from their creations for perusal by all participants.
The great conversations we started Friday evening will continue concurrent to the classroom activities, fleshing out and building upon the themes illuminated.
The event energy will climax on Saturday night with a feast and open mic for interesting announcements followed by a dance. Saskatoon’s new dance band, The Assless Chaps, will make their debut in the province’s most famous dance hall.
On Sunday morning we gather once more for a debriefing, appreciative good-byes and brunch of leftovers.
IN is a private members’ community with a modest annual membership of $5 per person, $10 per family and $25 per business. In a private members’ community we are reminded and agree that we are each responsible for our own conduct, safety, value, reputation and impact.
Admission for the event is $50 per person, $75 per family and $100 per business, plus membership fee. Meals are a combination of potluck and provided. Accommodations are the responsibility of participants, with several hotels, motels, inns and B&B’s providing them in the village and nearby Watrous. Manitou Beach has an indoor mineral spa making the healing waters of Little Manitou accessible year round.

Why a Saskatchewan Summit?
The Imaginarium Network is borderless. Much of what we are offering is web-based, designed to spark and support activity on the ground in communities all over earth. This event is happening in Saskatchewan because the majority of the network’s key collaborators so far are from this rich and beautiful land of living skies over scorched earth, waving grasslands, aspen parkland, boreal forest, lakes and rivers, shield and tundra.
We hope that our example here inspires people from other regions to step up in their own areas with a village event of their own making. We are making our story and offerings visible for others to learn from, increasing the capacity of living men, women and children in communities everywhere to rise up and be the difference.
About the Imaginarium Network & Village Style
This is a village style event, meaning that all members are needed and present: children, elders, women, men and the natural world.
The Imaginarium Network is a new collaboration of Right livelihood generators and volunteers accepting life’s call to serve humanity’s real needs with content that supports healing and heart-based evolution in people, relationships, economy and community care.
We are pioneering a village participation map for a fresh economy of shared responsibility based in health and happiness for all, where the responsibilities for a healthy world are accepted by each of us in the ways we choose and hold ourselves accountable for the quality of our contributions to health, economy and life together. Four gatherings per year each in season=suiting formats will keep us flowing, connecting, warm-hearted and innovating.
Income from this highly accessible event will first be applied to cover venue rent, food and creating materials, then to reciprocate the heart-based entrepreneurial artists accepting responsibility for project leadership and implementation and the event staff. After fair reciprocity for the workers, excess income will go into the pot for continuing to develop opportunities and offerings for all people that are curated or designed and delivered by the co-creators of the Imaginarium Network team.
We are presently imagining and building an online facility that mirrors the living experiences of connection and collaboration as a web-based venue for the members of the network.
We are ready to receive new committed collaborators with the right stuff for key positions on our co-creating team. If you are interested in generating your own right livelihood in collaboration with us, you can express your interest after informing yourself of our structure and needs in a full perusal of the website.
Together we are transcending darkness to heal and become the world that works with life.
